At the core of the Q-STAR TOUR is the FastLayer Core, which leverages a gradual transition from a soft inner core to a firm outer edge. The compression of this core has been gently increased for this generation to promote faster ball speeds and greater distance, but thanks to the staggered compression from inner to outer, the ball still provides a great feel on every shot.

Surrounding the FastLayer Core is the Spin Skin, a specialized coating made from highly flexible molecular bonds.
